Here's a look at the Iowa Hawkeyes' recruiting class for 2018 and a look at the commits for 2019 as well. I'm not big on recruiting rankings, but here are the players' 247 Comp rankings. Iowa rarely has top recruiting classes, but they develop players better than a lot of programs. Two of their star players this year are Akrum Wadley and Josey Jewell, both "two-star" recruits.

So far, not a bad class. They always try to get at least one QB per class, and I read that they are looking to add at least one more OL and WR. John Waggoner would be a nice pick up as well. I'm hoping Devin Black will get to Iowa City for a game this year and Calvin Lockett would be a nice addition at WR, he's coached by former Hawkeye, Marcus Paschal. Moala could be a possible LB recruit and join his teammate, Anthony Torres, they come from Bryan Mattison's alma mater.

The 2019 class is off to a great start with two stud OL Miller and Endres, and one of the better TE's in the class, Logan Lee. Larry Tracy is a great athlete at CB as well. Iowa is amongst the leaders for big time RB Jirehl Brock, he's been on campus a couple of times. Iowa has some momentum in the state of Indiana, could that help with WR David Bell, OL Justin Britt and LB Jack Kiser? Britt and Kiser have both been to a game this year, Bell had to cancel for the PSU game, hopefully, he will reschedule. Moses Douglass is a legacy recruit, but he's rumored to be an Ohio State lean.
