Well, it's been a super disappointing season for my Iowa Hawkeyes. A brutal road loss at Indiana has me wondering if they'll even make a bowl game this year. They need to win two, this week they play Purdue at home, on the road at Michigan, then home against Nebraska. It's not looking promising. They have been good against Michigan the past few years, but I don't see them beating them this year. Nebraska is too good this year, too. Purdue is beatable, but who knows. The offense has been in a weird funk all season long and can't seem to get anything consistent. At times Vandenberg looks like a solid QB, but not as often as he should. Damon Bullock has been a solid running back this year, he and Mark Weisman are two bright spots on offense. Two OL were knocked out of the Penn State game for the remainder of the year, and fullback Brad Rogers has been out, not a lot of solid blocking. At least, they're getting some young guys some experience. Next year's OL should be pretty solid.
The defense has been shaky in conference play since the Michigan State game. The DL has been better than I thought they would be though, a lot of youngsters getting valuable playing time. The linebacking crew is one of the top ones in the conference and all three starters are juniors. The defensive backfield will lose Micah Hyde next year, but should be good.
I'm hoping Iowa can pull off an upset so they can make a bowl game, they definitely need the extra practices. At least, the bball season starts soon! The Hawkeyes should be pretty decent and might get a chance to dance! I'm going to the New Mexico-Davidson game on Monday night at the Pit, which is a nice little 15 minute walk from my house. Well, here's my top 25 for the week, kind of late, but here it is. Florida State is leading Va Tech right now in a pretty close game.

Top Games
Florida State at Va Tech: Too late to give a prediction, but I do think FSU pulls it off.
Penn State at Nebraska: Nebraska is rolling right now, PSU has been a surprise this year. Nebraska 28 Penn State 21
Northwestern at Michigan: Both teams still in contention for the division race. This could be a really good game. Michigan 31 Northwestern 24
Wisconsin at Indiana: The winner of this one is going to the title game. Seriously. Indiana has looked pretty sharp this year, playing some close games. Can they knock off Wisconsin though? Wisconsin 42 Indiana 28
Kansas State at TCU: TCU is always tough to predict, Kansas State keeps cruising along. Kansas State 45 TCU 38
Oregon State at Stanford: Oregon State needs a win to try to keep up with Oregon, don't think it will happen though. Stanford 28 Oregon State 21
Mississippi State at LSU: Mississippi State started off hot, but had somewhat of a weak schedule. Third straight tough opponent. LSU almost had Alabama last week, I thought they would beat them. LSU 28 Miss St 17
Texas A&M at Alabama: This could be a great game if Texas A&M brings it. If not, Alabama rolls. Alabama 38 Texas A&M 28
West Virginia at Oklahoma State: Remember when Geno Smith was the only Heisman candidate? Oklahoma State 42 West Virginia 38
Arizona State at USC: It's awesome watching USC lose when they have such a talented team and can actually go to a bowl game. I think they win this week though. USC 42 Arizona State 31
Purdue at Iowa: Have to make a prediction on this one. Not sure what Kirk Herbstreit was smoking when he predicted Purdue to win their division, they haven't even won a conference game. Iowa 31 Purdue 21
